about recessed.space
recessed.space is a platform for new writing about where art & architecture overlap founded in 2021 by London-based writer Will Jennings.
We have featured artists, architects & projects from across the world, including: the US, Switzerland, Bangladesh, Iceland, Uganda, Japan, Germany, & Argentina amongst many others. It has reported from Manchester International Festival, Venice Biennale, Pirelli Hangar Bicocca & MiArt in Milan & Barcelona’s MODEL Festival, as well as many more international events.
We have already featured interviews with world-renowned creatives including Ai Weiwei, Anish Kapoor, Cristina Iglesias, Norman Foster & Alvaro Barrington.
recessed.space is also committed to supporting the next generation. We have recently presented a feature on two young Dutch furniture designers exhibiting in Geneva & also profiled a selection of selected Goldsmiths College graduates.
